Grandmaster Kelly Cox is a highly respected martial artist and the founder of the Marudo Karate-Do system, which he teaches at his school in Richardson, Texas. His extensive martial arts journey began in 1973 under Master Hido Park, leading to a black belt in Moo Duk Kwan by 1979. Over the following decades, Cox broadened his expertise by instructing with the American Tae Kwon Do Association during the 1980s and joining the AKATO in 1992. Now a retired educator, he holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Kobudo and received his Master Instructor Certification in 2000, establishing himself as a premier teacher in the field.
